Mindfulness-based psychotherapy is primarily a talk therapy that shows you how to access and communicate with your innate wisdom. With greater access to this body-centered knowingness, you are guided in a journey that helps bring conscious choice to automated reactions and painful, conditioned ways of being. As a trained practitioner of the Hakomi method, Gretchen specializes in working with women seeking to bring more awareness to their own experience in order to deepen a sense of love, connection and intimacy with themselves and others. Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length and take place in the sitting room at Halsosam.
Massage therapy is physical bodywork which brings awareness and relaxation as well as increased energy, lymphatic and oxygen flow to the body. During your massage, you may talk or simply quiet your mind and thoughts in silence. Sessions are typically 75 minutes in length and take place in the massage room at Halsosam.
